Toronto and Niagara Falls

Updated: Jan 24, 2020

Toronto, Canada is only about 4 hours away from where we I live. So we decided to go there for a weekend. Toronto is a beautiful city made up of very interesting infrastructure and great people. As soon as we got there we went to our hotel to put our bags in the room and rushed to explore the beautiful city. We walked around Toronto and ended up in Chinatown, where we tried bubble tea. China Town is a bustling part of the city that provides you with a unique cultural experience. After our time in China Town we went to the CN Tower. At the CN tower we went to the top and saw the beautiful view down below, we could see most of Toronto and its buildings, it was amazing. They have glass floors and we step on them to enjoy the view. We also had a vegetarian hot dog from a street vendor, it was good. Later, we visited the University of Toronto and enjoyed walking on campus and looking at the beautiful architecture. The next day we went to Casa Loma, which is a Gothic revival mansion with beautiful gardens. Casa Loma is very pretty and the architecture is astounding. We went inside the landmark and were surprised by how gorgeous it is inside and out. The garden at Casa Loma is filled it with flowers, fountains and a great view of the mansion.

On a previous trip to Canada, we went to Niagara Falls. The falls are pretty, with a lot of entertainment and restaurants surrounding them. We went on a boat and saw the waterfalls from below, we all got pretty wet. At night the waterfalls are illuminated with different colors and it looks beautiful and breathtaking. Canada is huge and we got to see a tiny part, however what I have seen is very pretty and unique, the waterfalls and the architecture were amazing and I’m so glad we went.
